St. Helena's Guild

is a ministry group within the church that works collaboratively to enrich the welfare of the church community. In a larger context the Guild belongs to Episcopal Church Women (ECW), which empowers women to work with other women’s organizations, programs and ministry groups, locally and globally, working for gender justice and individual women to seek transformation of the world, the church and their own lives in Christ.

Food Pantry and Thrift Store

Dos Santos Food Pantry & Thriftstore

Dos Santos (two saints) is a partner agency of the Foodbank of Southeast Virginia and the Eastern Shore and the only Spanish-speaking pantry in the region. The outreach serves a sizable migrant farmworker and Latino immigrant community by providing staple foods such as corn flour for tortillas, rice, beans, poultry and fresh vegetables, along with clothing and personal hygiene items. Dos Santos has expanded to include a thrift store to supplement their programs. A mobile version of the pantry also distributes food and other necessities in trailer parks and migrant camps.
